Foster Care
Covina Assembly has a heart for foster children. We believe in providing safe, stable and loving homes for foster children to develop and grow in God’s love and grace. We also believe in coming alongside parents to help them develop the skills the need to effectively raise their children in a home built on Christian foundations. As a result, we have partnered with Serenity Infant Care Homes to help recruit, train, and certify foster families to provide safe, stable and loving homes for children to develop and grow in God’s love and grace.
Covina Assembly also operates Royal Family Kids’ Camp (RFKC), a one-week summer camp especially designed for foster children. RFKC is designed to create positive memories for children, including fun games, everybody's birthday party, teaching about God and His love, and building relationships with loving counselors and staff. RFKC utilizes camping strategies and “best practices” in social services while recognizing the needs of abused, neglected and abandoned children. The activities at camp are non-competitive and non-threatening.
