Youth

CSM (Covina Student Ministries) is designed for junior high and high school students.

CSM (Wednesday Night Service)

The main service for CSM is at 7 p.m. on Wednesday nights. The CSM service begins with a youth-led time of worship. Following worship, the junior high and high school students are split for a time of interactive teaching specifically geared for their age groups. The evening's lesson is reinforced through a small group discussion that promotes interaction with a leader and other students.

Youth Small Groups

Youth Small Groups are offered on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. The groups are separated by grade level and are lead by adult volunteers. The curriculum is based on issues and topics that are relevant for students, and the format is interactive to encourage students to talk about the things in their lives that are important to them. Youth Small Groups are a great way for students to open themselves up to the influence of God in their lives.

Serving

Junior high and high school students are encouraged to serve regularly throughout the year. Opportunities exist for students to help out with CSM on Wednesday nights by setting up or being a part of the youth-lead worship team. Students are also encouraged to volunteer in another area of the church on Sunday mornings twice per month. Serve days are also available throughout the year for students to volunteer their time to make a difference in their church and in their community.
