College & Young Adult

Sanctum

Sanctum exists to create an environment that encourages college students and young adults to enter into a real relationship with Jesus, be transformed by his Spirit, and engage in a globally-impacting lifestyle of ministry. Sanctum is a relational environment that involves prayer, creative worship, opportunities for service, and a chance to enter into a loving and encouraging group of young people focused on going deeper with Jesus and with each other. Our quarterly Night of Sacred Art encourages artists in the community to share what God is doing in their lives through original creative expression. Sanctum meets on Sunday nights at 5 p.m.

Chi Alpha

Chi Alpha Campus Ministries is an Assemblies of God campus ministry on universities throughout the United States and around the world. It is a movement of college-age men and women earnestly following Jesus. It is not a fraternity or sorority. Everyone is invited everyone to be a part, regardless of background.

Covina Assembly of God sponsors the Chi Alpha group on the campus of Cal Poly Pomona. The gatherings are informal, infused with music and interaction, and cover topics from relationships to the nature of truth. We create opportunities for students to meet God, each other, and the needs of the community.

One of the challenges of campus ministry is connecting students with a church so that they have an ongoing community of faith after graduating from college. Covina Assembly of God addresses that challenge through Sanctum, a relational environment that involves prayer, creative worship, opportunities for service, and a chance to enter into a loving and encouraging group of young people focused on going deeper with Jesus and with each other.
